Our 10th annual "Party in the Park" will be a magical evening of great music, entertainment and family fun. Rein in Sarcoma 2010 will feature unlimited carousel rides, continuous entertainment, a large and unique Silent Auction and children’s activities. Rein in Sarcoma not only raises funds to benefit sarcoma cancers research and physician education, but it is also intended to provide hope and relief for patients and their families from the isolation of these rare and dangerous cancers.
Just prior to main event, RIS and American Family Insurance will host a free picnic for sarcoma patients, survivors, loved ones and for those who have lost a loved one to sarcoma. For the fifth consecutive year, American Family Insurance is sponsoring our picnic.

JILL HOLLY AND HER BAND, natural born singer/songwriter/musician Jill Holly, will be headlining the RIS Entertainment stage. A recording artist with six CDs in her storied career, Jill Holly will thrill you with her strong vocals and mastery of the acoustic guitar. Her voice resonates with power and emotion.
In her music, you will hear echoes of everyone from Joan Baez to Shania Twain. Performing 7:00 - 8:00 and 8:35 - 9:00 with Illumination Fire Troupe and Rachael Kroog. (Click here or on the image on left to hear a sampling of Jill Holly's music.)
DICK & JANE'S BIG BRASS BAND will give us a taste of New Orleans Dixieland. Dick and Jane's Big Brass Band has brought the Twin Cities its own brand of New Orleans street, or Second Line, music for the past 14 years. People can't help but get up and dance, march, or do whatever the music moves them to do. Performing 6:00 - 6:30 pm strolling and leading picnic attendees to event and again at 8:05 - 8:30 pm on RIS entertainment stage.

The RIS Children's stage returns for a second time and will feature great entertainment for children throughout the evening. Located close to the Silent Auction, this is the perfect spot to have your kids entertained while you bid for the cause! Performing this year:

The Closing Ceremony is a time of Remembrance and Celebration. Luminarias will be lit and will line the moat in front of the Visitor Center. RIS Named Funds will be honored. Karen will be remembered. Dr Roby Thompson will MC. You may register for a luminaria to honor a sarcoma patient or survivor, or in memory of a sarcoma patient at the closing ceremony table located just outside of the visitor center's entrance.
