These organizations provide direct financial and support to families of cancer patients in the Minneapolis and St. Paul Metro area and Minnesota.
Angel Foundation of Minnesota - provides
financial assistance for basic non medical living necessities for cancer patients and their families in the seven county Metro area as well as other support services. Grants are approved for rent, utility bills, non-prescription medication expenses, childcare, bus passes, gas vouchers and other basic non-medical needs and necessities. The Miracles of Mitch Foundation - a Minnesota based 501c3 organization, whose sole purpose is to improve the quality of life for children (and their families) who struggle daily with cancer. The Miracles of Mitch Foundation seeks to provide relief and respite for all families with cancer who are being treated in the State of Minnesota. The Foundation help kids being treated for cancer by partnering with Children's Hospital of Minneapolis, Children's Hospital of St. Paul, University of Minnesota Children's Hospital, Fairview, St Mary's Medical Center in Duluth and the Mayo Clinic through each hospital's Social Worker network.
