The Rein in Sarcoma Excellence in Education Award was presented to Denis Clohisy, MD at the RIS Fall Fundraiser. Dr. Clohisy was selected by the RIS Red Flags Education Committee (a team of volunteers committed to advancing the educational mission of Rein in Sarcoma) for his long-standing support of our sarcoma community and the mission of Rein in Sarcoma.
Since inception, Dr. Clohisy has been an ardent supporter of Rein in Sarcoma’s mission and people. As a board member, professor, chair of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Minnesota and a member of the University of Minnesota Cancer Center over 20+ years, he brings his passion for cutting-edge techniques, with heart, providing compassion and hope to orthopedic oncology patients and their families. His work is celebrated, and he is dedicated to developing the next generation of orthopedic oncology surgeons and clinicians ensuring improved patient outcomes for decades to come.
