We can’t wait to see you at Rein in Sarcoma’s (RIS) 7th Annual Fall Fundraiser – RISe and Shine, Time to Thrive on September 28, 2022 at the Nicollet Island Pavilion (Minneapolis). It will be a fun, fast-paced evening honoring our sarcoma community and hearing stories of sarcoma thrivers.
This event raises funds to support one third of our annual operating income. Your support will provide:
- Sarcoma Research to develop better treatments and find a cure
- Support and Resources for sarcoma patients, survivors and families
- Education for the medical community and the public about sarcoma cancers
We are excited to welcome Mark Herzlich as our keynote speaker. In 2009, Mark was a football player at Boston College when he was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma. He was able to beat sarcoma and he ultimately went on to play for the New York Giants and is a Super Bowl Champion! Mark is now a college football analyst and author of “What it Takes.”
The evening is sure to be memorable, and an important fundraiser for advancing Rein in Sarcoma’s mission. Your support matters!

Seeking silent auction donations!
We’re working hard to obtain items for the Fall Fundraiser silent auction. We are making progress, but we still would like more items. This event is the largest RIS fundraiser.
This is where we ask for your help! Talk with your friends, community members, local businesses, and networks. Ask for support on behalf of Rein in Sarcoma — you never know who will want to help. Even if a donation is not made, you will be raising sarcoma awareness, which is a large piece of our mission.
