Anna Rogotzke
In the spring of 2009, Anna Rogotzke was two years old – a seemingly healthy, very happy child who seemed to “sparkle”. Three months after her second birthday, a tummy ache led to a diagnosis of stage IV Rhabdomyosarcoma.
A grueling plan of treatment was laid out for her. On her fourth birthday, Anna was called home to heaven.

Kathleen Marie (Klein) Strum
Kathy was adventurous and always looking for a new goal. From a bike ride – RAGBRA – across Iowa 494 miles with her husband Stan to a 20K mini marathon, when Kathy put her mind to a challenge, she brought her whole heart!
Kathy was diagnosed with Liposarcoma in August 2012. She was involved in multiple Mayo Clinic trials from late 2012 until approximately (3.5 yrs.) one month before her death. She figured that since there wasn’t a cure, she would help others.
In the eyes of her daughters, Penny and Elisa, and everyone who knew her, she was “believably” strong.
